How did I get blessed with such a happy child? You are now 3 years, 4 months, and 19 days old. Currently, your favorite things are school, trains, Tangled (the movie), family, and coins (money).
Yesterday, you told me you were a man and that you had work to do. Wonder where you got that from? A couple of weeks ago, you told me that you wanted to be big and daddy to be small so you could go to work and get coins and buy a train set. Crazy how your logic works.
We started letting you do chores to earn quarters and put in a jar. Hopefully, you’ll be able to buy a cool toy soon. Most of the time, you’re pretty helpful and pick up the living room all by yourself while mama does the dishes.
You like lists. Ever since we started you on that morning routine for school, you totally get lists. You like it when you know what to expect. The other day, you asked me what our list was for the day. It was go get lunch, go to speech, go to the farmers market, then go home for cartoons and quiet time. You didn’t argue a bit with any of it.
You rarely ever eat a meal anymore. You always ask for “snacks” so mama has to get creative and make sure you get your grow foods in. The best meal I can get you to eat is macaroni and cheese from Panera. That’s your favorite place. Every time we’re out in Greenbrier, you know it and ask to go to “era.” I usually give in because you’re too cute.
A couple of weeks ago you came home and told us that Logan is your best friend. That makes mama and daddy so happy! We love that you enjoy going to school, playing with your friends, and even making a best friend! You also told us that you like Kiley. A little early for girls, eh?
You absolutely adore your family! You can’t get enough of them and really enjoy spending time with everyone. Every Sunday, you can’t wait to get out of church so we can go over Memaw’s house. Its always so much fun and you love to raid her cabinets looking for goodies.
You are an AWESOME big brother. There have been times when you heard Wade crying before I even did – that’s how attentive you are. You’re great at entertaining him. You can get a little rough at times, but you always know how to make your little brother laugh. About 50 times a day, I hear you saying, “I love you too Wade,” and it puts a smile in my heart each and every time.0
